Strasburg Film Festival documentary A Tree Remembers tells the story of the Czech village Lidice, leveled and eradicated by the Nazis in retaliation for the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich in Prague. However, despite the heavy death toll it paid, Lidice not only endured, but it continues to serve as a symbol and rallying point in the fight against Fascism.

A Tree Remembers will be shown on Friday, November the 9th, at 8:30 PM at the Box Office Brewery. Tickets can be found on the film’s event page.
