The next film that we are going to feature, which will be played during the November’s Strasburg Film Festival is Days of Solitude.
Directed by Mehdi Mohamadazar and Solmaz Ghaeili, this is a story of Sana and Sarah, two Kurd sisters that are compelled to leave their homeland after their village is bombed by an Iraqi aircraft. They find no sign of their mother in the ruins. After years when they hear about her being alive, their father is killed in the battlefield.
Mehdi Mohamadazar started his career as an animator at 2001, later on he created his own animation company and he has directed and produced animated short and feature films and TV series since then.
Being in the animation industry since 2003, Solmaz Ghaeili has written screenplays and directed animated short and feature films and TV series.
She is also a professional miniaturist and a background illustrator.
