The Job Aid Creator for Sprout Social and WordPress will create user-friendly job aids for predominant applications.   

 Responsibilities   

  • Gain knowledge on how to use WordPress and Sprout Social 
  • Design job aids for the most frequently done tasks 
  • Blog Posts on WordPress  
    • Uploading and formatting posts on WordPress  
    • Attaching links to articles  
    • Inserting and formatting photos  
    • Setting up thumbnails 
    • Search engine optimization  
  • Main Page on WordPress
    • How to edit the main page
  • Sprout Social  
    • Scheduling days to post  
    • Ordering of social media app postings  
    • Posting on individual applications  
    • Creating compelling posts 
    • Finding the right audience  
    • Guidance on hashtags  

 Preferred Skills   

  • Familiarity with social media applications (Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, LinkedIn, Google, Google Docs, Pinterest, Twitch)

The Power Automate Developer + Trainer will learn how to use this application to find a way to integrate it into the organization’s everyday tasks and improve efficiency.

Description  

The Power Bi Dashboard Developer will use the application to pinpoint weaknesses in the organization’s online presence to improve its engagement.  

 Responsibilities  

  • Set up a dashboard for analytics  
  • Help determine what analytics are beneficial to track to increase the organization’s growth 
  • Use the features and functions of Power BI to track information within the organization

Description  

The Public Relations Coordinator will go out into the community and utilize the media to promote the organization’s and film festival’s mission along with selected films especially the filmmakers. 

 Responsibilities   

  • Find local media outlets and reach out to them to pitch events  
  • Identify and reach out to local media groups of the selected filmmakers   
  • Come up with story ideas to pitch to media outlets  
  • Draft press releases and email releases to selected media outlets 
  • Track success of media pitches

Description  

The Social Media Engagement Coordinator will focus on interacting with audiences and finding new avenues to promote the organization.     

Responsibilities  

  • Engage in approved social media groups  
  • Respond to comments, tags, and posts  
  • Network with potential donors and groups to build our audience  
  • Monitor evolving social media trends and best practices for continuous improvement. 
  • Support the marketing team as needed.

The video editor will edit the Shenandoah Film Collaborative live podcast video adhering to the guidelines set forth by the producer. Watch the sample video provided and send in a sample video with a similar editing style.

  • Insert graphics  
  • Apply music and eliminate background sound  
  • Synchronize sound and video  
  • Color and lighting correction 
  • Collaborate with the producer to ensure the video matches their vision

  • Knowledge of Adobe Products (Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, Audition, Adobe Premiere)
