Leading up to Strasburg Film Festival in November Shenandoah Film Collaborative – Strasburg Film Festival will be highlighting some of the films that will be featured. Today’s preview is MindFull. Directed by Jessica Green, MindFull takes us on a walk down two blocks in New York City through a one-shot style film as we listen in on the honest and private thoughts of several strangers. Through this short journey, we are reminded that what we think of ourselves is usually not the same as the perception of those around us.

When submitting this film for consideration, Ms. Green provided the following statement about her film:

It was such an honor working with this nearly all female cast and crew, many of whom I have worked with several times before, and will continue to do so in the future. We support each other, and the whole is greater than sum of our parts.
This film is very special to me as it was born out of a real conversation I had with my writer and co-producer Jen. The crux of the matter is that how we see ourselves is often very different from how others perceive us, and if we could only see ourselves through someone else’s eyes, we would see how special we truly are.

The Strasburg Film Festival will be played at Box Office BreweryThe Grey LotusDiscover Strasburg (Municipal Building) and Shenandoah Museum of Contemporary Art.

All proceeds of the Strasburg Film Festival go to the
