On Saturday, November 25th we had our first outreach event where he hosted a small table at the Strasburg Chamber of Commerce Holiday Bazaar. To get in the spirit of a bazaar the wife and kids made scarfs for anyone who donated $15 or more to the non-profit. We still have more available, but we will communicate how to get one, once we’ve established the system for donating online.
While we were there, we had the opportunity to talk to fellow area residents about their interests in bringing more film events to the town, and other ways to raise money for the Shenandoah County School District. It was a productive day!
